Lilli is currently a senior. She has been riding since she was very young. Her family has always been very bike oriented, with her dad working as a mechanic at a number of bike shops through the years. Lilli has been riding with the team going on 4 seasons. The Redding Composite Team has allowed her to grow her love for the sport and create lasting friendships with other riders. Riding has been a great way for her to get out and explore more of the beautiful community we live in. This team has always had such a welcoming environment and she hopes to help it continue to grow as the years progress. She is stoked for the 2020-2021 season and can’t wait to get started!
Lexi is currently a junior attending Shasta High School. She was first introduced to the sport by her dad 4 years ago and been riding with the team for 3 seasons now. Other sports have interested her, but she has stuck with mountain biking because of the adventure and adrenaline. The Composite Team has helped her push her own limits and accomplish things that she wouldn’t have normally thought attainable, such as a 100 mile road ride or placing top 5 at multiple NICA races. She hopes to get more high schoolers involved and show people how beautiful the area we live in is.
At 15 years of age Damian is currently attending Shasta High School as a Sophomore. Damian has been riding bikes with his family for as long as he can remember, but never really had a love for it until 7th grade. Last year was Damian’s first year with the team. During his first year on the team, the first and only race of the season (due to COVID-19) he brought home a first place medal. The Redding Composite Mountain Bike Team has pushed Damian to get out and ride more often than he would of without the team being in his life. A few of Damian’s favorite aspects of the team is that you meet many new long lasting riding friends, you don’t have to be pushed if you don’t want to, and how welcoming and friendly the team is. Damian is STOKED for the 2020/21 season and the memories it will bring!
